OPENRWA — A NUTRITION LABEL FOR TOKENIZED ASSETS

The RWA thesis dies without trust, and trust starts with disclosure. OpenRWA is an open-source standard (Apache-2.0) where every tokenized asset declares what it actually is — machine-readably, onchain-discoverably, verifiably. Built here, free for any builder on the chain.

EXPLAIN IT SIMPLYImagine every food item in a store had no label — you couldn't tell what's inside, who made it, or if it's real. That's tokenized assets right now. OpenRWA is a free label format anyone can use: every token says in plain data what it is, what real thing it tracks, who's behind it, and whether you can ever swap it for the real thing. Our robot (RobinChan) and tools read these labels automatically — and anyone can use the format, free.
CLAIM TYPE

Wrapper, synthetic, redeemable claim, or direct title — no more guessing what a token asserts it is.

UNDERLYING + ISSUER

What real asset, by what identifier, backed by whom, in what jurisdiction.

ORACLE + REDEMPTION

Where price truth comes from, and whether holders can ever redeem for the real thing.

THE HONESTY RULE

Wrapper and synthetic tokens MUST declare "not equity" in plain terms. Her catchphrase, enforced by schema.

VALIDATOR OUTPUT
// paste a document and hit VALIDATE // the validator runs against the OpenRWA v0.1 schema, live
02 // THE MOVEMENT

ROADMAP — LABEL EVERYTHING. THEN LET ANYONE BUILD.

The plan: make disclosure the norm, make building easy on testnet, and gate mainnet by disclosure completeness — never by permission. The regulated parts (audits, legal) are phased in where they belong, not skipped.

EXPLAIN IT SIMPLYRight now we've built the "label" system. Next we make it dead easy for projects to use it. Then we build a playground where anyone can create a practice version of their own real-world-asset token, free and safe. Then, once the code is professionally checked, projects that fill out their labels honestly can launch for real. The end goal: creating an honest RWA token becomes something anyone can do — with the honest path being the easy path.

THE STANDARD

The disclosure schema, the IOpenRWA interface, the live validator API, the registry with published criteria, the embeddable widget — all open source, all self-hosted on our own rails.

ADOPTION LOOP

  • Disclosure Builder — plain-English form generates a valid disclosure doc; RobinChan reviews it in-character
  • Badge program — "OpenRWA Labeled" widget on adopter sites; unlabeled tokens start looking naked
  • First 10 verified entries — the chain's launch tokens plus early community projects, verified per public criteria
METRIC: 10 verified entries · 3 third-party sites embedding the widget

THE TESTNET FORGE

  • RWA Forge (testnet only) — guided flow: pick a claim type, describe the underlying, get a generated disclosure + reference contract, one-click deploy to testnet. Anyone can prototype an RWA in ten minutes — zero real money at risk
  • Forge Gallery — every forged RWA gets a public page with its label, RobinChan's risk read, and a graduation checklist
  • Professional audit of the reference contracts begins — the non-negotiable gate before anything touches mainnet
METRIC: 100 testnet RWAs forged · reference contract audit complete
P3
MONTHS 4–8
PLANNED

GRADUATION RAILS

  • Mainnet graduation — forged RWAs deploy the audited contract to mainnet only when the checklist is green: valid disclosure, at least one attestation, issuer identity published. Gated by disclosure completeness — never by permission
  • Attestation partners — audit and reserve-attestation providers plugged into the checklist
  • Auto-enrollment — every graduated RWA with a public underlying joins the Gap Monitor automatically
METRIC: first 5 community-issued, fully-labeled mainnet RWAs
P4
MONTHS 8–12
PLANNED

PROTOCOL CITIZENSHIP

  • Onchain registry — verification moves into a contract other protocols compose with: DEXes badge verified tokens, lending markets set collateral rules by claim type
  • Neutral governance — the spec is handed to a multi-project working group once three independent issuers adopt it
  • The long tail — the Forge pattern extends to funds, debt, and eventually real estate, one governed schema addition at a time
METRIC: one external protocol consuming the onchain registry · governance handed over

Honest print: disclosure does not exempt issuers from securities law — graduation checklists include "consult counsel" for a reason. The reference contracts remain testnet-only until professionally audited. Nothing on this roadmap is a promise of returns, a token utility claim, or financial advice.

ASK ROBINCHAN

An AI guide loaded with the documented history and the chain's actual mechanics. Lore answers come with sources. Chain answers come in plain language. Requests for financial advice come back politely denied.

EXPLAIN IT SIMPLYThis is a chat with RobinChan, an AI character who knows two things really well: the funny/messy history of Robinhood, and how this blockchain actually works. Ask in normal words, get normal answers. She will never tell you what to buy — that's her strictest rule. The buttons below are example questions to try.

WEEKEND GAP MONITOR

Tokenized stocks trade 24/7. Real markets don't. When the underlying market is closed, onchain prices drift with no anchor — this console tracks each stock token's deviation from its last real close, live.

EXPLAIN IT SIMPLYReal stock markets close on nights and weekends, but tokens that copy stock prices keep trading 24/7. When the real market is closed, the token's price can drift away from the real price — like a boat with no anchor. This table shows, live, how far each token has drifted from the last real price. Useful before you trade on a weekend.

06 // THE MISSION

BUILT FOR THE FREIGHT TRAIN

Robinhood Chain is Arbitrum-based rails for tokenized real-world assets — stock tokens, price feeds, bridges, and whatever builders ship next. Tokenization is the freight train coming for every market. RobinChan explains the schedule.

EXPLAIN IT SIMPLYRobinhood built this blockchain to put real-world things — stocks, private companies, eventually more — onto the internet as tokens. That's called RWA (real-world assets). These cards explain the big ideas in plain terms, including the honest catch: owning a token that tracks a stock is NOT the same as owning the stock.

stock tokens

Round-the-clock price exposure to real equities — as wrapper claims, not the shares themselves. She always says the quiet part: "not technically equity."

private markets

The chain's boldest experiment: tokenized exposure to private companies. Groundbreaking, controversial, and exactly the kind of thing that needs a guide.

the honest risks

Weekend price drift, bridge assumptions, one sequencer with its hand on the switch. She tells you what the marketing won't — she's seen a button disappear before.

the numbers

RWA deposits in DeFi roughly tripled year over year while the wider market shrank. Real assets are becoming onchain collateral, not just wrappers.

RobinChan explains. She never recommends, signals, or predicts. Information — not financial advice.
